Hi,
Does "jettison one's dream" have the same meaning, weight and nuance as "give up one's dream"?
In which context do we use it? A formal one?
Thank you,

Yes, when you jettison something, you throw it overboard from a ship or an airplane. When you jettison your dreams, you give up on them, chuck them overboard. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
