mixed conditionals

I have a question about coditionals. We sometimes mix the unreal conditionals. We use past and present time references in one sentence.
For example we can say "If I had worked harder at school, I would be in a comfortable office now"

What I wonder is can we do the same in real conditionals. I really need some comments. If you have any idea please share your knowledge with me

Yes, we can do the same with real (open) conditionals. Here are some examples:
1. If she is artistic, she got it from her mother.
2. If I fail the test, I didn't study hard enough.
3. If he gave his word that he would help us out, we need not worry.
