Could you help me to turn the following into a sentence.

Oh my God! Here we are! Completely nervous again!
(situation about to miss the aeroplane // don't want to use nervous because it's already used before)
Maybe sth like:

Oh my God, I thought, and our anxiety rose again.
..............................., and our nerves started to jump again.
..............................., and our nerves were put to a new test.
What do you think? - I'm sure you have better ideas.
