Hello,teachers.
The move came as GDP grew at a faster- than-expected, and U.S. consumer prices rose above the Feds target.
Which is a cause of the "move", wheter only a "GDP grew at a faster- than-expected" or both of "GDP grew at a faster- than-expected" and "U.S. consumer prices rose above the Feds target"?
Thai is....
May I take this sentence as "the purpose this move was taken is not to curb the consumer prices but GDP growth "?
Please, please help me.
Please...
Sincerely |

It's not clear from this sentence that the move was caused by these factors. The sentence only says that the move and the other events happened at the same time.
If you had said: The move came as a consequence of .... That would be different. _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |

Dear teachers.
"The Fed increased rate last month again.
The move came as GDP grew at a faster- than-expected, and U.S. consumer prices rose above the Feds target. "
Does the purpose of this rising rate(=move) include both to cueve "GDP growth" and "risung consumer price", or only to cueve "GDP growth" ?
The comma before "and" is confused me.
Please help me.
