I love William Shakespeare's literature.
When I was sixteen I watched a play of "Romeo and Juliet" in my music class, then I thought it was romatic but miserable in the result.
After that, I was exciting to watch a paly of "A Midsummer Night Dream" which has magical story and actor and I love the same story of this.
Have you read Shakespeare's literature?Do you love his literature?
Well, Hope you had already read Shakespeare's literature, and could you tell me which one of Shakespeare's literature you like?
Big thanks from your share!

I've read Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Hamlet. I liked Hamlet the best, mainly because it had a lot of dramatic themes in it... Romeo and Juliet was way too flowery, and Midsummer Night's Dream was fun, but a little too weird.

I've read a lot of Shakespeare's plays and sonnets
Amon his plays I like Romeo and Juliet, i think it's romantic.
However, i don't like Shakespeare's plays, in my opinion, the plots are rediculous, and the people in his plays are simple-minded, and the languages are too flowery.
On the contrary, i like his sonnets, it's beautiful and powerful |

I remember the first time I tried to read Shakespeare... I was 19 and I had to give up, for I didn't have fluency enough to read his plays in the original version.
Ok, I know I could have bought one of those "modern English version side-by-side with full original text", but it wouldn't be the same, would it? I'm too proud to do so. That's why I decided to postpone it.
Some day, who knows, may be I'll try it again.... |

He is a novelist which i like.
I like "Romeo and Juliet" best. It is kind of tragedy of love.
It's good to read the book after you watch the movie. It will enables you to understand clearly..
I have ever read the Shakespeare's English version novel, but it is difficult for me So I want to try again and If I have enough time, I want to know more and more about William Shakespeare. I hope i could learn the background of UK at the time, too!! Because I am interested in middle ages history!! |

Hiii everyone...well I studied Literature at High School and I can say that I really appreciate William Shakespeare, this man is a Genius.I read Measure for Measure, A midsummer Night Dream, Julius Ceasar, Romeo and Juliet... Romeo and Juliet is the play which I prefer among all the plays of Shakespeare......
O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be a Capulet.
ROMEO
[Aside] Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this? _________________

I've read The Tempest, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and the Sonnets. I've watched plays/movies of The Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice, Henry V, Timon of Athens, and King Lear.
I think Shakespeare was a genius; his writing was prolific and beautiful, and also has a lot of humor. It's true that the plots are a bit weak sometimes, and a lot of the action takes place off-stage, which is so different from modern entertainment.
Jorge Luis Borges wrote an article entitled Everything and Nothing, which argues that the reason Shakespeare was great was that he could impersonate any kind of character. Thus, we all find ourselves somewhere within his work.
