Hi, friends
Now I'm reading a pretty difficult passage.
"The fact of imagination has long been recognized, but it is only recently that the value of imagination has been hailed...."
I'd like to ask what "the fact of imagination" means. Does that mean "the existence of imagination" or "the nature of imagination" or "the characteristics of imagination"? Or are there any better way to paraphrase it?
Thank you.

Imagination exists. People accept this. It is a fact. Nobody questions the existence of imagination. _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |
