Hi,
I sometimes come here for the suggestions provided in learning English. And once, when I taught my students the context reading about "email", I copy some pages for them to understand how to use the website since my students started English learning only two years ago. They don't do a lot of English surfing online( but in fact, they surfed a lot of Chinese websites---and I definitely assure that they just surfed for fun...) Then after they repeated after me to follow the quotation from Terry Taylor, a British English learning book-writer. They were astonished that they could easily understand what the author wrote on the page, which made them confident and interested more than before. After that, I encouraged them to take a look at this web and copied whatever this web could bring for them to the class. They did! And triumphingly showed me their copies. Of course, I gave the students extra-credits feedback for return, which they loved a lot. By the way, they learned another way to develop their learning... The most important to me is to lead them to learn not only from their textbook but also from their life around---even among their "fingers"---learn the real fun by their own...... |
