Which one is correct? And also, I'd like to know the difference between 'next Sunday' and 'the next Sunday'.
Thanks. |

1. It means the first Sunday after some future event. "I can't go on a picnic on Christmas Day, but I can go the next Sunday."
2. It means the upcoming Sunday. Today is Wednesday; next Sunday is just four days away. Often you can eliminate "next," because it is implied. "I have to mow the lawn next Sunday / on Sunday." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

According to your answer, I can guess that the both examples are grammatically correct and the meanings are different each. Am I right? |
