| Personally I've never heard it before. There are a few horsey phrases, like 'get back on the horse' (don't let mistakes and problems faze you or make you give up, because it might be difficult to regain your confidence if you wait), 'get off your high horse' (stop thinking you're superior or above everyone else), and 'don't look a gift horse in the mouth' (if someone gives you something or does something for you, appreciate it and don't look for faults). I've never heard your one though, maybe someone else has heard of it? |
