Dear teachers,

Can I say: I expect you to pay me a full refund. ?

And are these alternatives correct?

refund - noun
1. I expect you to give me a full refund.
2. I expect to get a full refund.
3. I am asking you for a full refund.
4. I demand a full refund.

refund - verb
1. I expect you to refund my money // the purchase price.
2. I am asking you to refund the purchase price.

Thank you so much in advance for your assistance.

Dear Crisi, All of your sentences sound correct to me.....However, I notice that your introductory sentence and you first alternative noun sentence are very similar: the only difference is the verb - "pay" vs. "give". "Give a refund" is more commonly used by Americans. "Pay a refund" doesn't sound quite right. But it is perfectly understood. Smile OK?

That's what I thought. That's why I took the trouble to look for alternative ways to express it.
