In a sentence below should "are" be changed into "do"?
It has become clear that women use more mitigated disagreement than
direct disagreement and men are the other way around. _________________ Hiromichi |

No, I would not say ".....and men do the other way around." but you can say "....and men do it the other way around."
Actually, I don't like "the other way around" very much in that sentence.
I prefer to say, "It has become clear that women use more mitigated disagreement than direct disagreement and men (do) (are) the opposite."
I don't like "should are be changed into do?". You can say "should are be changed to do?" or "should are be replaced by do?".
