Hello,
Are the words in bold correct?
After I have read your extract about Rington in the new 'Guide Book', I feel the urgent desire to clear some points.
or would it have to be:
After having read your entry about Rington in the new 'Guide Book', I feel the urge to clear some points up. ?
Thank you so much in advance for your help.
Best wishes

.
These are OK:
After I read / After reading your extract about Rington in the new 'Guide Book', I feel the urgent desire to clear up some points / clear some points up.
Urgent desire and urge are different in intent.
Using the present perfect in the dependent clause is logically awkward.
