In below sentence:
I know the funds devoted to the project which I just talked about so often.
"which" refer to the "funds" or the "project"? I don't know. Really need your helping, friends. _________________ "Watch flower flowering and searing

Hi Wangfeel,
The sentence is not a correct sentence. Regardless, 'which' could be referring to either. It depends on what was said (written) before, or maybe even on the correct sentence itself. Also, you would not use 'just' together with 'so often' in this context. 'Just' means one time moments ago, while 'so often' means many times over a period of time. Here is one possibility:
I know (that) the funds devoted to the project, which I just mentioned, will no longer be available if the project is not started by the end of the month.
If "I" was previously speaking about the funds, then 'which' most likely refers to the funds.
If "I" was speaking about the project, then 'which' probably refers to the project.
Hope that helps. |
