Companies are creating centralized *staffs* of specially trained order-takers..
Isn't 'staff' usually not plural?

2.
Travel anecdote=travel story?

3.
All the businesspeople are here on 'accounts'
business accounts?

4.
The reason why we are in Argentina is that there are a lot of places that are chepa, and places that hae a huge amount of infrastructure, and very few places 'where they intersect.'
What is they, in this case?

1. Yes, it's usually singular, but in this case it needs to be plural because it is more than one staff.

2. Yes.

3. Probably. The context may point to something else, though.

4. "They" are the cheap places and the places with lots of infrastructure. The clause probably means that very few places are cheap while having lots of infrastructure. (Or it might mean that the cheap places are in different areas than the places with lots of infrastructure. - It depends on the context)
