I was given the following writing topic:
Describe the characteristics that make a person successful.
where my virtual teacher (it is a computer program) suggested that the main points should be: tenacity and luck.
I used to think characteristics of someone describe his internal quality, not include his circumstance. Am I right to disagree with my virtual teacher? |

| Tenacity is an 'internal quality' but luck is not. You are right to disagree with your 'teacher'. |
