Hello,

Is it "in a van" or "on a van"?

Do some people actually differentiate between a stationary vehicle and a moving one with the use of "in" (stionary) and "on" (in motion)?

"in a van" is correct, unless you are outside the van and on some part of the van.

No, I have never heard anyone differentiate between stationary and moving in that way.
