Dear Teachers,

1. To begin with. I dont want to play this woman but definitely want it to happen when the timing is right.
- play here means have sex, right?

2. See you in a bit!
- This means See you later!, right? And is this common?

Thanks a lot to Teachers,

Stevenukd

1. Well, the "playing" is your dishonesty in the process of getting her to agree to "it." (In this example, "it" - in quotes - refers to having sex.) It's the lying, the saying what you think she wants to hear, the false sincerity, etc... You can "play" people in situations that do not involve sex.

2. Yes, it's common and it means, "I'll see you later." However, "later" is usually a short time. For example, if we're talking on the phone and we're getting together in an hour or two, we might say this as we're hanging up.
