1. The items listed below have shipped on 01/02/2004. (bestbuy.com)
Is this correct? Shouldn't we say:
...have been shipped...?
2. Your order has shipped, and should arrive soon. Your credit card has successfully been charged for this order. (google checkout)
...has been shipped? |

Yes, your changes are correct.
However, you can also just use simple past tense, instead of past perfect tense, in the two sentences. In fact in the first sentence, where a specific dated is mentioned, simple past tense sounds much better. 'The items listed below were shipped on 01/02/2004.' |

Thanks, I saw it many times that it is used by companies in an active perfect rather then passive perfect.
I search my emails and found:
1. amazon.com
Your Amazon.com order has shipped. (Email subject)
2. hsn.com
Your HSN order has shipped. (both in Email subject and body)
3. microsoft.com
Your product has shipped. (body)
4. usps.com
Your order has shipped. (subject)
same with google and bestbuy.
