What is the difference between the following two examples?
1. several hundreds of students
2. several hundred students
Does sentence #1 imply greater uncertainty than sentence #2? _________________ Thank you very much for your reply. |

You will hear "hundreds of students" or "several hundred students," but never "several hundreds of students," at least in my experience. Maybe others have different views. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
