There are many couples whose age difference is large.
Are there any better ways to express the same meaning as this sentence?
Thank you in advance!

I don't know if they are (much) better but you can say:
1...There are many couples with a large age difference.
2...Many couples have a large age difference.
Maybe #2 is better because it uses less words. |

Thank you very much for your reply, 2006-san!
Let me ask one more question.
Are the following sentences both correct?
1. Their age is much different.
2. Their ages are much different.

"ages" would be correct but using "much different" when talking about ages sounds a little odd to me.
'There ages are so different.' sounds better, or you can talk about 'a large age difference'. (there are 2 ages but only 1 age difference) |
