Does the captioned sentence mean "Those methane lakesides views are very good."?
What's more, scientists have speculated that Titan's atmosphere--which is 10 times denser than Earth's--is similar to the one that enveloped our planet in its infancy. In the words of the folks at NASA, Titan "may preserve, in deep-freeze, many of the chemical compounds that preceded life on Earth." Plus, you can't beat those methane lakeside views. _________________ Hiromichi |

The passage is trying to justify scientists' interest in Titan.
It seems that you can't beat those methane lakeside views implies
that scientists would die to know what is there in the surroundings of those methane lakes. In short, scientists need to learn more about the satellite.
But as you said, it could also additionally mean that scientists speculate the methane lakeside views could be beautiful. |
