[Friends Season 1-11]
Chandler: Well, I believe the piece of furniture was fine until your little breakfast adventure with Angela Delvecchio.
Joey: You knew about that?
Chandler: Well, let's just say the impressions you made in the butter left little to the imagination.
1.Here's something I don't get.
What does "little breakfast adventure with Angela Delvecchio" refer to?
2. Why the impressions made in the butter left little to the imagination?
Thanks a lot! |

Joey Tribbiani, the irresistible charmer, must have had breakfast with a woman named Angela Delvecchio, and they must have gotten carried away romantically. Whatever they did on the breakfast table left a telltale impression in the butter, and evidently it damaged some furniture as well. Anything that leaves little to the imagination is vivid or obvious. Maybe the butter took on the impression of some body part . . . .

The butter must have softened after taking out from the fridge for a long time. |

Well, between Joey and Angela, there are a number of body parts that might have made some kind of impression in the butter. It may have left nothing to the imagination of Chandler, who saw the butter, but for the rest of us, it leaves everything to the imagination! _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
