				| Is it just me or are the flags around the country (USA) still at half-staff...?
I'm not very superstitious, but I think the flag is at half-staff quite frequently during Bush's term

I remember when Regan died, Bush ordered flags to be at half-staff for a month even through July 4th, the nation's birthday. Bush should've at least ordered full-staff on that day because a nation has greater importance than any single person (at least in a democracy)...

Now, Ford died and again flags were flown at half-staff, this time through New Year's Day (and still are the last time I checked)...

A nation celebrates its birthday with flags at half-staff (in mourning), and welcomes the New Year also with flags at half-staff (again, in mourning)... I just have a bad feeling about this...

				| That's right! Everyday when I went to school, I have to pass by the post office, and everyday I saw the flag hald-risen during certain period of time.
I was wondering why the flag kept half-risen for a so long time.
I am not superstitious at all, but the half-risen flag still makes me feel bad.
