hello myprofe, Lorikeet etc.

Can you tell me: What is business English? I'm going to vote this next semester but I don't exactly know the difference between business English and the English students learn in school.
Do they tell you a lot of new vocabulary which you have to learn? Or are there also differences in grammar, word structure etc?

I'm doing mechanical engineering (mostly production engineering, industrial engineering).
