Dear teachers,
Would you tell me the meanings of the underlined part in the below sentence?
* What is "dividends for the market "?
* And, does dividends mean "cash dividends from a company", "revenue from rise in stock price", or any other meaning?
"The advantage of this is that there is less uncertainty regarding the future growth rate of dividends for the market than there is for dividend growth for an individual company."
Please help me.
Thank you, sincerely. |

"dividends for the market" means cash dividends from all companies within the market.
The sentence means there is less uncertainty about dividends growth from all the companies combined than from a single company. |
