Dear teachers,
Who can be so kind as to help me with the following questions which have been puzzling me for a long time? Thank you very much.
1. What' s the differences between " no easy answer & no quick answer"?
2. In the sentence" In one type of heart surgery, for example, only 15 percent of patients improved their conditions after the surgenry."(NMET Beijing2002) Why coditions used here ?
3.The reaon why they didn't get ___ people to help them in the work is that they didn't want to trouble______.
A. any, anyone C. any; anyone
The answer is C, why not A?

Dear puzzle, 1. They are basically the same, because things that are done easily are generally done quickly. 2. The condition of your health is the state of your health, which is 'what it is'. 3. 'any' goes with your 1st blank space, and 'anyone' goes with your 2nd. There is no need for commas or semi-colons. OK? Smile
