Dear teachers,
"They usually invest in long and short distressed securities."
Does "long and short" in the above sentence mean just a term, length of time?
Or, does it have another meaning?
Please help me.

"They usually invest in long-term and short-term distressed securities."
It is most likely that '-term' was dropped by accident. |
