Hi. Please tell me what is the difference between ironic and sacrastic?

I'm afriad to use them because I feel like their meaning are quite sensitive.

I believe that "ironic" and "sarcastic" are similar in the sense that both words mean that what you say is actually the opposite of what you really think.

However, "ironic" would be more for amusing situations or something that happened but is opposite to what would normally be expected, and "sarcastic" would be for making fun of someone else but in a bad way, making an unkind joke, mocking someone.
