The scum of Confucian in China

From ancient time to modern China ,China has earned the title of "nation of Amenity" which should owe to the education of Confucian, however behind the title of "nation of Amenity" Confucian is the main reason why China is behind the advanced trend of world civilization.

It is true that society needs amenity and respecting others is also respecting ourselves, however once this amenity is beyond the limit social order will be in extreme unreasonable and makes Chinese society in eternal feodal system .

For example ,Chinese education has emphasized respecting leaders for more than 2000 years,in modern China the respecting leaders means that you must walk behind the leaders;you mustn't speak any words after your leaders have finished their speeches;you can't sit down before your leaders sit down;you can't leave the table before your leaders leave at dinners ;you have to light your leader's cigarettes when they want to smoke and so forth.

Under this kind of education of Confucian,China firmly forms a tradition in which everybody compliment others, nobody dare to criticize their leaders. The result is that you must become slaves to survive in Chinese society.

If China really wants to become civilized society in the world,China must abandon the education of authoritarianism and enslave, and conduct political democratic reforms, only if so China will has a bright future.

Perhaps the present government is taking a gradual approach to democracy rather than the sudden and extremely painful leap that the Russians took?

As you say, Confucian teachings (and Mohism, Legalism, and etc.) are a great influence in China and in Asia in general. Taoist too - though paradoxically ancient Taoist philosophers believed Confucian teaching (and the other rules based schools of thought) to be somewhat shallow and unnatural (rules at a surface level instead of integral philosophy).

You've strongly worded your opinion, which is your style as we've come to understand. And I would say more than just political reform would be beneficial to Chinese society. However, in concept I agree with much of your opinion.
