What does that mean, how can it be hot and out?

1. Means, he could just have well used another word, such as "but."
2. Yes, it is so dynamic, it rocks the house.
3. Yes, nowadays some people address each other as "dog." It is more affectionate or at least familiar than anything else. "Where you learn to sing like that, dog? You got talent!"

Yes.
Old School: See Answers.com

"Old School", in early hip hop culture, simply referred to the originators of any particular area. Thus a modern spoken word poet might reference beat poets as "old school". In rap music, old school originally meant the earliest period of rap, from its inception in the 1970s, until that time. The original "old school" of rap was considered the likes of "Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambataa, Sugar Hill Gang, Kurtis Blow and Run-DMC. Sometimes, the period of 1984 to 1986, with rappers such as LL Cool J was called "Mid-School". "The New School" comprised the new crop of rappers rising up after that period, such as Public Enemy and Eric B & Rakim. |

Means, he could just as well have used another word, such as "but." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

Was that a typo or a common way to shorten it?
Thanks |

It was just a typo. You need "just as well have" there. |
