Dear Teachers,
1. On the occasion of the spring comes. I wish you and your family a happy new year and full of great favor of Jesus Christ.
2. May you and your family a prosperous new year and get what you all wish for.
- Are these wishes natural to say?
Thanks a lot to Teachers,

Not really so natural, Steven. I would rewrite them:
1. As Spring arrives, I would like to wish you and your family a happy New Year full of all the blessings of Jesus Christ.
(I would not send this to anyone unless I knew they were devout Christians. For others, you could change "Jesus Christ" to "peace," "liberty," "fortune," or "the Earth" if you wanted to.)
2. May you and your family enjoy a prosperous New Year, and may all your wishes be granted. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
