Dear Teachers,

1. Hey man, earth speak, please!
- What does "earth speak" mean?

2. In daily conversation, the word "look!" means "listen!", right?

Thanks a lot to Teachers,

Stevenukd

1. You might say this to someone who has just said something that sounds like nonsense. You're telling him to speak in a language that an earthling would recognize.

2. Wow, that's a great observation, Steven! You're absolutely right when we say something like:

Look, if you don't show up to court for that speeding ticket, they'll suspend your license!

Look, all I'm trying to say is...

Look, when you pay me that $10 you owe me, I'll return that sweater I borrowed from you.
