Is it possible that it can mean the people who haven't tried?

1/.untried means something that has not been tried (attempted) before.

2/.In a word should be a one word summary of what you have just said. For example: He dropped his camera and broke it. He fell down and broke his arm. He tripped over his own shoelaces... He is, in a word - clumsy

3/. An Exodus means a departure or journey of many people. It is as you say, a book of the Old Testament that refers to the departure of the Israelites from Egypt.

4/. A fine line is the same thing as a wrinkle, except that I suppose they mean it is not quite so deep as a wrinkle yet. It is one of those euphemisms used in advertising, probably.

5/. When you say a team has a great line up you mean it has excellent players.
I would have thought that you need more than two people in a line up, but no doubt that is what the writer meant.
