Dear Teachers,

1. I wanted to go home and changed out of the dress and high heels, but Teresa would have no part of that.
- Teresa would have no part of that here means Teresa wouldnt care about that, right?

2. You just should start a new relationship when you are over your ex already. You can forget about her or not, its totally up to you.
- Is this natural?

Thanks a lot to Teachers,

Stevenukd

In this case, Teresa has a strong opinion (she does care) about going home to change clothes; she is strongly against it.

At first, the Queen would have no part of allowing Diana to divorce Prince Charles.

"It is totally up to you" means "the decision is yours to make."
