am studying in odessa now and I want to tell my classmate about my family traditions.we are six in my family.Mom,dad,a sister,two younger brother and myself.my parent are 41 yrs old.I think our family is very sharing,respectful,loving with each other.
India is the vibrant land of mythological tales,of gods and goddesses and a thousand beliefs has evolved over centuries as a mystic land of festivals.Every occasion you can dream of is celebrated with gaiety,pomp and favour.These colorful and happy festival bind the people of the nation across various state and religion in a unique way and provide a spectacle that cannot be experienced anywhere else in the world.
Diwali-the festival of light.Diwali is the joyous of all festival of hindus.It is celebrated all over India with much gaiety and enthusiam for four days in the months of october or november.Streets are lit up,houses are decorated and painted a new,small oil lamps and tiny electric lights glow over houses and buildings. The atmosphere is serence and peaceful with grace and piety everywhere.Family members enjoy putting on new clothes,elders buy gift for everone in the household.To add the joy firecarckers are burst with enthusiatic.Diwali is also the beginning of the hindu calender and this day merchants open thier new shops.To sum up hindus diwali is seen victory of good over evic,of knowledge over ignorance,of truth over untruth.
Another popular fetival is the annual hindus spring festival is called holi the festival of colors.It takes place in late march and for five days.It celebrated by throwing coloured powder and water at each other.
Festivals have specific foods and desserts associated with them.Sweets are a major constituent in indian festival cuisine.
