Hello,
When do we use the plural "wastewaters"?
Do we say "wastewater from the project" or "wastewaters from the project"?
Thank you,

I think you would use "wastewater" only. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

Thank you, CP.
However, I came across the following sentences which I think were written by native speakers. Why is "wastewaters" in the plural form here?
1. Wastewaters from the project will consist of cooling tower blowdown and process water treatment residue.
2. Wastewaters from the project area will be treated and then discharge to the local sewer system after the completion of the project.
Is it possible that it's because there are more than 1 type of wastewaters?
Thank you,
Nawee |
