Which one is correct and why?

Thanks.

.
Supply and become: the second (proximal) subject agrees with the verb.

(I suspect that notional subject (arteries) also comes into play here.)

You are talking about arteries that supply the blood to the heart, which is plural, so they become narrower. One or more of them become narrower, as Mister Micawber said. If you are talking about just one such artery, then it is correct to say

"One of the coronary arteries that supply the blood to the heart becomes narrower than it used to be."

Hi,

I would make these slight edits. (optional)

Some of the coronary arteries that supply blood to the heart became more narrow (than they used to be).
