I think that 'Born Park Ji-eun' is wrong and instead 'Park Ji-eun born' is right. But I'm not sure. Please let me know.

Actually, the quote appears to be correct as is. Another way to say it would be: Park Ji-eun, who was born in Seoul in 1979, grew up in a family of avid golfers.

This 'construction' is used when a person changes their birth name later in life.

For example.....

Born Park Ji-eun in Seoul in 1979, she grew up in a family of avid golfers. At age 19, she moved to America and changed her name to Sara Park.
