I think that 'and' should be eliminated because 'unmanned moon probe and a space station' is the object of 'launch'.
I wonder if my opinion is correct. If I'm wrong, can you tell me why?

Hello - It's just a "typo" (typing error)... it should read "an" (because of the "u" in unmanned.
