I've read 'sick' means 'likely to vomit' in Britain in predicative position like "I feel sick."
Then, how about in America?
These two sentences can mean "likely to vomit" in America?
1) I feel ill.
2) I feel sick. |

Hi sejpdw,
Some indications of likelihood of vomiting would be:
I feel sick.
I don't feel too well.
I feel qeasy.
I'm sick to my stomach. (has another meaning of unpleasant feeling, frustration or disdain)
I feel like throwing up.
I'm going to throw up.
I feel nauseous.
I'm gonna puke.
Stand back!
