For sure, you will shape up your self-confidence if you only try to be active on this forum. 
If you want to find one person you could improve your English with, I advise you to check out 'Making friends' section.

You don't need to go on yahoo to chat in a foreign language. There is an excellent chat for esl students on Dave's ESL website too. You just need to click on the link "chat central" on the main page to enter the chatroom. You can save much time by choosing this one - don't have to go through thousands of rooms to find the appropriate one. Moreover, you don't have to fill any form with your personal data, just the simplest registration process.
