no sooner ...then - used to show that one thing happens immediately after another thing
e.g.
No sooner had I started mowing the lawn than it started raining.
No sooner had I entered the room than the telephone rang.
not until - not before a particular time or event
e.g.
We didn't eat untill past midnight.
Once he starts a decorating job he won't stop until it's finished.
Don't move until I tell you!
