I think that they are both correct although most people seem to prefer your first sentence:
For my husband and myself, the answer is to assure our children of their genetic and historical link between themselves and their birth families.
This is why we need to revamp our teacher system to assure our children of being taught by professional competent educators...
The progress of the past school year should encourage us all to assure our children the benefits of physical development as well as intellectual growth.
We must band together to assure our children a safe place to learn.
We strive to assure our children an atmosphere where their social, emotional, and academic needs are met. _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |
