In my room my books are lying on the floor and if I want to tell my brother that when he comes to my room he should be careful and should not put his feet on my books then how should I say i t.........I hope I am making sense........
can I say ........don't put your feet on my books
but to me it doesn't look correct, then what should I say
please help |

Hi Muni,
That would be a logical (and natural) thing to say if he was sitting down and resting his feet on your books. When he is on his feet (standing or walking), the natural thing to say would be "Don't step on my books!"
