Here are the two sentences that made me confused:
"It's you that keeps me going on."
and
"It's you who keeps me going on."
Which is used more often? Can I use both "that" and "who" in this case?
By the way, please tell me the rules, if any, of using "it's...that...".

For a person, use who and whom; for an animal or thing, use that.
"It's you who keep me going on" is the correct way to say it. "It is you who are my favorite person, and you whom I love." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
