Please help me on "the change of email address notice" below.
"This is to let you know the change of email address.
My new address is XXXXXX on immediate effect."
Please correct the two sentences above.
Thanks so much. |

You can say either of the following.
1...This is to inform you of a change in my email address. Effective immediately, my new (email) address is XXXXXX.
2...This is to inform you that, effective immediately, my new email address is XXXXXX.
Of course the single sentence is more efficient but there is nothing wrong with using two sentences.
"let you know the change" is not very good. You can say "This is to let you know of a change in my email address." but "inform you" is more efficient and is commonly used. |
