British- people of United Kingdom
Britain- island in the Atlantic Ocean off the northwestern coast of Europe, including England, Scotland, and Wales.
1 what are the differences between British and English?
2 the British =the authority of theUK or people from the UK?
3 do you say "somebody is English" to refer the person is from England?
4 Britain's Prince Harry="England's" Prince Harry?
5 British monarch ="England's " monarch?
6 Could you show examples using these words?

British- relating to Great Britain or the United Kingdom.
The correct name for the island is, Great Britain.
1.) British refers the the entire Island, (England, Scotland and Wales). English relates only to England.
2.) Yes.
3.) Yes.
4.) Yes.
5.) Yes. She's the Queen of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Australia, Canada, and some other places I've probably forgotten. |
