I learned all these terms from Gun's N Rose's lyrics.Could anyone explain them for me?

1 Yesterday's got nothing for me.=Yesterday was boring and not worthy of recalling.?

2*prayers* in my pocket and *no hand in destiny*.

=I have wishes and don't know what my fate will turn out?

3 no time to *plant my feet*=will not stop?

As always, when interpreting poetry or lyrics, there may be multiple meanings, and maybe no right meaning at all.

1 Yesterday's got nothing for me.=Yesterday was boring and not worthy of recalling.?
--It might mean that I don't want to live in the past; it was a bad time for me, and it isn't a time that I want to remember or stay in.

2*prayers* in my pocket and *no hand in destiny*.
=I have wishes and don't know what my fate will turn out?
--It might mean that I have hopes and dreams and wishes, but no real ability to control the future.

3 no time to *plant my feet*=will not stop?
--It might mean that I can't settle down right now.
