1. I like to collect calendars of different countries.

I like to collect calendars from different countries.

2.
I want to know the language that my adopted sister would have spoken had she grown up in her birth country.

Could anyone use the *reverse time order* sentence structure in another sentence?

Thanks

Not quite the same.
...of different countries.
means the calendar has photos of different countries' scenery, but the captions are in my language, the days and holidays marked are my country's holidays, and maybe it was even printed in my country.
from different countries.
means the calendar was printed in the foreign country for their market, has that country's language and marked holidays.

I'll take a stab at it.
I like to check weather.com to see what the weather would have been like had I been able to take a vacation.

.................
Amy: I'm OK, but I have carpal tunnel syndrome.

Richard:
That sounds bad. Is it serious ?

Amy: It can be; the doctor *caught* it before it got too bad.

Found the problem and corrected it?

Thanks
