Hello, teachers. Could you help me?
"They agreed with my proposal."
"They agreed to my proposal."
Are the sentences both acceptable? If so, what is the difference between them?
Thanks in advance.

Both sentences are acceptable but they can have different meanings. Imagine that two sides are negotiating something.
In the first sentence, with "with", the people who agreed are on your side of the negotiations. They agreed to submit your proposal to the other side for their consideration.
In the second sentence, with "to", the people who agreed are on the other side. They agreed to accept your proposal that your side submitted to them. |

Dear 2006.
Thanks for your quick reply.
